Library Essential FactsThe Essential Facts Exercises help students in grades 4-6 learn the background vocabulary and concepts they will need to understand further library instruction. Elementary librarians use these terms in their lesson planning and as an assessment tool. The Essential Facts exercises were inspired by the teachings of Susan Leddick, Lee Jenkins and Robert Marzano. They can be used for study and self-assessment as well as for formal assessment.
