Hawktime is a fun event held three to four times a year for student enrichment. Hawktime is held from 2:00 to 3:00, usually on Fridays, where classes run on a shortened schedule.
During Hawktime, we offer several activities run
by teachers and community volunteers. We have everything from playing
checkers, to craft projects, to mountain biking! Since we offer a
variety of activities, some classes may require parent permission and
nominal fees may be involved. Due to size limitations of the
activities, students do not always get their first choice, however,
every effort is made to give each student one of their three choices
they sign up for.
Please note, Hawktime Schedule is also used to facilitate other events here at LAMS, such as student assemblies and early dismissal.
