World Studies Text Books: Many students requested or were assigned a text book. Students should keep this book to use at home; a class set is available for classroom use.
SWEEP Energy Afternoon was a success on Friday, February 19th! Students exhibited skill at designing wind blades. Six winning design teams were announced and awarded a prize at Friday's closing event. All students should have raced and recorded data on solar cars. Winners will be announced this week!
SWEEP (Sun and Wind Encompassing Educational Program) a cross-curricular unit funded by BP and A+ for Energy, began in Mr. Williams' science classes February 1st. Students are completing their SWEEP research projects in social studies classes this week. Also this week, Language Arts lessons will focus on solar and wind technology.
