Los Alamos Public Schools provides bus service for all Los Alamos County elementary students who live at least 1 mile from the school, for middle school students who live 1.5 miles from the school, and for high school students who live 2 miles from the school.

Los Alamos County students should click on the button below to access the 2026-2027 Student Bus Card. Please complete a Student Bus Card for each student that may ride the bus.

Please note: When you have submitted the bus card(s) you will not receive a confirmation email.

The district does not provide transportation for students who live outside of Los Alamos County. All parents or guardians who would like to request that their student(s) be placed on a waiting list should complete the 2026-2027 Student Bus Card. It will take up to two weeks after the start of the school year for permission to be granted for any non-Los Alamos County student(s).

Each year it is required that a parent or guardian complete a Student Bus Card for each student to ride the bus. All route stops are subject to change and/or elimination based on the bus cards received.

Frequently check the District website, https://www.laschools.net/departments/transportation, for route updates prior to the start of school. Route timing and stop sequence may change based on the bus cards received prior to the first day of school.
