Spring Break
Los Alamos Public Schools will be on Spring Break Monday, March 17 through Friday, March 21. Classes will resume on Monday, March 24.
Registration for 2025-2026 School Year Open
Online registration for the 2025-2026 school year is now open for students planning to attend LAPS in the fall. This includes new and returning students, kindergarten and preschool. Go to www.laschools.net/registration for more information and to register using either a computer or smartphone.
Registration for Safety Town 2025
Registration for Safety Town 2025 is now open. This free program is for all children entering kindergarten in the fall. Click here to access the registration form. This year Safety Town will be held Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6 from 8:30 am to noon at Barranca Mesa Elementary School. The program is limited to 100 participants.
School Board Meeting
The next LAPS School Board Work Session is scheduled for Thursday, March 27 starting at 5:30 pm at Los Alamos High School.
